Practicing with the Filament

1. Work with a partner. Have one member of the team demonstrate the correct way to use the filament on a lemon repeatedly for several minutes. As this person proceeds, check to see that all of the following guidelines are followed. *this exercise can also be done on your own

2. Change roles and repeat the exercise described in number 1.

3. Explain in detail how you will know what angle to use when inserting the filament.
